The Department of Sports continued the Primary School Netball Preliminaries on Wednesday, 28 May 2026, with another exciting round of matches across Zones 1, 2 and 3. Schools delivered competitive performances throughout the day as teams continued their push for strong standings in the competition.

In Zone 1, Dieppe Bay Primary produced a commanding performance to defeat Joshua O. Williams Primary 15–0. Outstanding players from that contest were Avandi Connor of Dieppe Bay Primary and Deshaunia Thomas of Joshua O. Williams Primary.

Also in Zone 1, St. Paul’s Primary School secured a 12–8 victory over Newton Ground Primary School. The match featured strong scoring from St. Paul’s, while both teams had outstanding players recognised. Keijhel Browne was named as the outstanding player for St. Paul’s Primary School, while Mikela Woods earned recognition for Newton Ground Primary School.

In another close Zone 1 contest, Beach Allen Primary edged Tucker Clarke Primary 10–9. The match was one of the closest of the day and showcased determined play from both schools. Outstanding players were Amanda Baez-Perez of Beach Allen Primary and De’Niah Nelson of Tucker Clarke Primary.

In Zone 3, Tyrell Williams Primary defeated Saddlers Primary 6–3. Tyrell Williams’ disciplined team effort helped secure the win, with Amandah named as the team’s outstanding player. Jayvonie Phipps was recognised for Saddlers Primary.

Another Zone 3 matchup saw Halliday Smith Primary record a 14–6 win over Violet Petty Primary. Halliday Smith’s attacking effort proved decisive, while Cherika Flemming and Jahletta Phipps were recognised as the outstanding players for their respective schools.

In Zone 2, George Moody Stuart School narrowly defeated Edgar T. Morris Primary 7–6 in a tightly contested match. Outstanding players from that game were Zi’Camiah Jacobs of George Moody Stuart School and Tanella Welcome of Edgar T. Morris Primary.

Match 2 of Zone 2 ended with Dr. William Connor Primary School ending the match early against Sandy Point Primary School after the mercy rule was applied in the second quarter after Dr. William Connor Primary School scored 15-0. The outstanding players from that game were Jian Taylor Goal Attack of Dr. William Connor and Tallian Drew Center of Sandy Point Primary School.

The Department of Sports commends all teams for their effort, discipline and continued growth throughout the preliminaries. The competition continues to showcase the development of young netball talent across St. Kitts.
