The Department of Sports is pleased to share the results from the Primary Schools Netball Quarter-Finals, played on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, and to confirm the fixtures for the upcoming semi-finals.

Four quarter-final matches were contested, with Newton Ground Primary School, St. Paul’s Primary School, Dr. William Connor Primary School, and Deane Glasford Primary School all advancing to the next stage of the competition.

In one of the quarter-final fixtures, Newton Ground Primary School defeated Beach Allen Primary School 7–4. Newton Ground led throughout the match with quarter scores of 3–0, 4–1, 6–2 and 7–4. For Beach Allen, Aririanna Cranston (GS) scored 4 goals from 12 attempts, while Kamalyn Jeffers (GA) had 6 attempts. Newton Ground’s scorers were Mikaila Rawlins (GS) with 1 goal from 4 attempts and Jacenia Powell (GA) with 6 goals from 19 attempts. Outstanding players named for the match were Amanda Baez Perez of Beach Allen Primary School and Jacenia Powell of Newton Ground Primary School.

St. Paul’s Primary School also produced a strong performance in its 11–4 win over Sandy Point Primary School. St. Paul’s scoring was led by Yazinyue Leader, who netted 9 goals from 18 attempts, and Tenique Henry, who added 2 goals from 9 attempts. Sandy Point’s scorers were Amelia Campbell and Zionsha Liddie, with 2 goals each from 4 attempts. Outstanding players were Thizenya Leader (WA) of St. Paul’s Primary School and Serenity Rogers (WD) of Sandy Point Primary School.

Another quarter-final encounter saw Dr. William Connor Primary School overcome Cayon Primary School 19–15. Dr. William Connor’s scoring was shared between Shania Jarvis (GS), who scored 10 from 19 attempts, and Jian Taylor (GA), who added 9 from 12 attempts. For Cayon Primary School, Jahlicia Dore (GS) scored 6 from 12 attempts, Eltisha Gibson (GA) scored 7 from 10 attempts, and K’Mia Freeman contributed 2 from 4 attempts. Outstanding players for the match were Faith Wattley (GD) of Dr. William Connor Primary School and Eltisha Gibson (GA/GD) of Cayon Primary School.

In the final quarter-final result, Deane Glasford Primary School defeated Halliday Smith Primary School 15–5. Halliday Smith led at the end of the first quarter, but Deane Glasford responded well and gradually widened the margin. Genesis Ortega (GS) and Glendy Warner (GA) scored for Halliday Smith, while Cavanique Bass (GS) and Kalea Bryan (GA) led the attack for Deane Glasford. Outstanding players named for the match were Glendy Warner (GA) of Halliday Smith Primary School and Cavanique Bass (GS) of Deane Glasford Primary School.

The Department of Sports also confirms that the semi-finals will be played on Tuesday, 30 June 2026. The fixtures are as follows:

  • Newton Ground Primary School vs Dr. William Connor Primary School
  • St. Paul’s Primary School vs Deane Glasford Primary School
